Over the last few seasons, Target has taken some heat for their clothing department. Choices have looked much more Little House on the Prairie than trendy. But, lately they have turned the corner back into fun, flirty clothes that people actually want to wear! Before our trip to Hawaii, I ran to Target to see if I could find a couple of things. In true Target fashion, I ended up with a ton of great stuff! Since we’re moving into vacation season I figured I would share my favorite pieces from this Target Summer haul. Let me know what your current favorites are too!
Shoes
We’ll start with my favorite category of all time! Target shoes have been a staple for me for years. I love them for work and for play. For this trip, I wanted a sandal option and a beachy heeled option. Good news is I found both! A New Day is a fan favorite brand of Target, and both pairs of shoes I bought for the trip are that brand. The sandals cost $19.99 and the braided heels (which are super on trend right now!) cost $27.99. Both worked awesome on vacation and I’ll continue to wear them all Summer long! These are both true to size, and if you’re in between sizes my suggestion would be to go up a half size.
Athleisure
I knew we would be outside exploring a fair amount on this trip, so I wanted some good athleisure options to take. I am already a fan of some of Target’s athletic wear. In my experience, it fits well and holds up strong. I already own the cropped t-shirt in two other colors, but knew if they had the black in my size I had to have it! My favorite piece I bought, though, has to be the tank top. It is 100% a dupe for the Lululemon Align tank! Take my advice, RUN to Target and pick up this tank top. The t-shirt and tank are both All In Motion, and costs $20 and $22 respectively. These are true to size, and you might even size down in the tank top if you want it to be snug.
Swimsuits
You can’t go on vacation without at least one new swimsuit, right? Well, I ended up buying 3 and a cover up! Target is a great place to shop for affordable swimwear that will last you a couple of Summer seasons. They have options now with cup sizing, making their fit even better! I walked away with the 3 tops and 2 bottoms that you see above. Almost everything is the new Shade & Shore brand they carry, and one set of bottoms is Wild Fable. Every piece you see here, including the cover-up, is under $25! Sizing here is all up to you, but my opinion is everything is true to size.
Resort Wear
This is what I really went for on this Target trip, and ended up loving everything else! I was on the hunt for a great pair of linen pants, and was so happy when I found these from A New Day. I found the top you see, which is the same brand, and thought it would be so cute together! I loved both pieces on vacation and wore these pants multiple times. They are also a great option for work in the spring and summer! The pants run true to size and cost $25, and the top is $16.
Accessories
Last, but not least, in this Target summer haul is accessories. I love these 2 cute earring options not only for vacation, but for all of summer! They are both by BaubleBar, which has been at Target for a few years now. They make stunning earrings that really hold up and always make a statement! I wore the white pair multiple times on vacation and adore the palm trees! They both cost $12.99 and in my opinion are worth every penny!
