The Nest - Little Rock, AR

If you live in and around the Litte Rock area, I have found a gem that I am so excited to share! As a newer resident, I have been looking for ways to meet women my age and start making friends. As you might imagine, this is not an easy thing to do in your 30’s while working a full-time job, having a home life, and trying to maintain some sort of workout routine. However, in February I came across an event titled The Soiree Women’s Leadership Symposium and immediately purchased tickets! The symposium itself was a great experience, but my absolute favorite part was a meet and greet event the night before at the most gorgeous venue called, you guessed it, The Nest. I had never heard of The Nest before this event, and now I am one of their #1 fans!

Keep reading for more details on this fantastic, empowering, and inspiring venue right here in the Little Rock area!

What Is It?

Ok so what is The Nest? Simply put, The Nest is a coworking space. This type of concept is fairly new to the South in general and especially in the areas I’ve lived in recently (Knoxville and now Little Rock). Essentially, it is an open space meant to be used freely by people working, studying, reading, etc. that prefer an environment outside of their home. This space specifically is decorated beautifully with cozy spaces to get comfortable and get stuff done!

Here are some pictures for a sneak peak of what you can expect from their decor and set up!

How Does It Work?

The very next question I had when researching The Nest was, “Ok, but how does it work?”. I wasn’t sure if it was open and free 24/7, if they only hosted events, or what the idea was on actually utilizing the space.

Here’s how it works at The Nest:

  • Memberships: You can choose from a variety of membership options to utilize The Nest as a workspace. These range from $49/month to $179/month depending on what works best for you! You can find more specific details on membership options by following this link.
  • Free Events: The Nest also holds free to the public events a couple of times a month, which I think is fantastic! These events include things like book club, specialized talks by women in the community, and even work out classes. Here is the link to their monthly calendar of events!
  • Private Events: This is how I came to find The Nest in the first place! Little Rock Soiree had rented the venue to host their VIP Meet and Greet event the night before the Women’s Leadership Symposium. You can also rent the conference room specifically for an event if you didn’t need the entire space! If you’re interested in renting space at The Nest, you can find pricing details here.

Is It Worth It?

One word, YES! I have been visiting The Nest as my schedule allows ever since the first time I walked through the doors. I have told every woman I’ve met that I think would benefit from knowing about this venue about it and will continue to do so! As you grow up, you sometimes find it to be harder and harder to find a place where you feel surrounded by support. That is exactly the type of environment The Nest provides for people in all walks of life. Whether you want to test out utilizing the space by first starting with a free event or want to dive in headfirst I cannot encourage you enough to do so!
